Sometimes a conversation can be hard to keep going, especially if it is the other person who is letting you down. Be confident; because sometimes it is our confidence that lets us down. As long as you are confident you won't run out of things to say and listen attentively to what the other person is saying so that you can ask questions and build on that.

-o- As the person above said, try to find the balance between short answers and long answers. A sentence or two is usually adequate lol, plus it depends on who you are talking to! Try and see what they prefer and how long their texts are and go from there!
