If they are blank, then there is nothing on the CD to take off. And you can't "take" songs off a disc, unless you burn them to a computer or another CD. Also you're a doofus. Way to go doofus.
How many songs you can burn onto a blank CD depends on how much space is on the CD. On average you will be able to put around twenty songs on a blank CD.

To burn songs, the CD must writable and be in good physical condition. Only two formats of the writable CD that are commonly used, the CD-R and the CD-RW. Some CD players, especially before 1997 will have problems reading from a CD-RW.
CD-R or CD-RW , BUT CD-R is better
rename the song and try to burn
You can buy songs using the iTunes music library, which is located within iTunes and can be selected from the left side menu. Or you can download songs off of the internet using an application like Limewire, which may or may not be illegal depending on if you own the original song on a cd.

Hello, If you insert the CD into your computer and open Windows Media Player, select Burn CD, and OK. You do this if you want to insert the songs on the CD to your computer. If you want to delete them and put other songs in the CD instead, you have to make sure the CD is CD-R (re-writeable). Goodluck, Silent Breeze
There is a tab named "Burn". You can drag songs to the right-side to be burned.

If the songs on your iPod are in an iTunes library, put the songs that you would like on the CD in a playlist (click the plus in the bottom left corner). CD with only one song and it tells be to insert a blank CD How do you put more songs on the same CD?
If the CD is a CD-R it is only "Writable," and cannot have songs added to it after its initial burn. If the CD is a CD-RW you should be able to "Rewrite" songs onto the CD and reburn them.
You can't delete individual songs from any type of CD. If the CD is rewriteable (CD-RW), you can blank / format (remove all content from) it using suitable CD-burning software and then re-burn the songs that you still want on the CD.
All you have to do is burn the song that you want on the CD :-) or even better yet you can do it legally and pay for the freaking music!

Download the songs first, then put them on CD separately the normal way. By the by, if you just want to hear songs and have playlists you could try listen.grooveshark.com which is an excellent hear only site for just about any song.

For starters, chances are that if you're downloading something that's write protected from limewire, it's probably illegal to re-burn it. The only way that it would be legal is if you already own a copy of the music, in which case you could rip and then burn from your own copy of the CD. I'm sorry you thought you had the answer right? or were you just wasting people's time?
Assuming a person owns an lp and instead of trying to convert the songs on the lp to mp3 to record on a CD the person downloads the songs via LimeWire is this illegal?
Downloading any copyrighted material from Limewire is legal no matter if you already own it or not.

Sure. Provided the MP3s don't have DRM protection on them, you can easily burn them to a CD with most burning programs. If you want a CD that'll play in regular CD players, burn it as an "audio CD". If you only need to use it in other computers, you can burn it as a "data CD" instead.
