First off, be sure you can get in by having one of the townsfolk tell you the "password" to get in Redd's shop on the day he's in town. It is random who tells you and usually at random what the password is. Sometimes the passwords are the same or different if you don't already have a membership and he visits you more than once. Then, the only way to become a member of the Redd family is to pay 3,000 bells, but be sure to have it WITH YOU while you're in Redd's shop if he asks you to join. He may, he way not. It depends. Watch out though, his furniture is VERY pricey and half the time are fakes or knockoffs.

Go to the city, and right when you get off the bus, go left. Keep going until you hit a wall, and see a door

What the heck. That is sooo not what you get from crazy redd! Okay, he normally sells only three things one is always a different painting which you can put in your house or donate to the museum, me? Well, I'd just donate it. Anyways, and the other two things are just plain furniture, I think they're more expensive than what tom nook sells though. I'd just buy the paintings. I bet you he steals them from some where because he always says things like "with all the cops sniffing around" or "good luck with that painting!" Hmm. Does anyone have an opinion about this?

You need to earn money by selling peaches to tom nook, you can bang on rocks with a shovel for money (only one rock has it a day), or you can dig for fossils and sell them. After that, go to tom nooks shop in the town, you can buy clothes from the Able sisters store by the beach and you can take the bus to the shops in the city.

in acww, redd will visit on a random day of the week every week (unless you set a certain day by talking to lyle). on accf, redd's shop is on the far left side of the city. however, you can't enter it until you've got an invitation. you'll get one eventually, idk when exactly

You can buy anythind you want, but you have to be a good resident in the town and you have to have a certain expansion on your house and yhe store.
