Cut original and loop on engine as it goes. pull tensioner 3/4 and cut off. take it to the parts store and have them get you one that's close. part number will indicate inches and service person will ask how much more or less you need. took me 3 trips but finally got it. if you can get the vehicle there then take it. can test fit in the parking lot. bring the tensioner wrench!
You would have to replace the entire fuel and ignition systems with older types to bypass the computer.
Yes , but you must remove the compressor and install the bypass pulley. The belt designed for non ac trucks will not work on trucks with a.c. The belt tensioner pulley goes the wrong way
Try this website. You can bypass the AC with this bypass pulley bolted on and use the same serpentine belt as before. http://www.1aauto.com/1A/ACBypassPulley/Ford/FSeriesPickup/1AEPM00022/481685 JS
You mean the air conditioning compressor? It can be done, but you'll need to find a belt which will work for that application... it's a bit of a crap shoot, and I suggest you find some F150 forums to find out which belt you can do this with and how to route it, although there really is no need to bypass it.. as long as you have the AC turned off, the compressor clutch won't engage, and the pulley will spin freely.
