Because it is an older dog, it needs some extra care. Feed it food that is specifically made for senior dogs. Take it to the vet on a yearly basis, or more often if needed. Watch for any changes in eating, drinking and behavior as that might be a sign of a health problem in an older dog also. Give it plenty of love and attention and enjoy.
