look under rocks,logs,bricks,and near water! snakes will slither away from you but try to catch up to it and put your foot right behind its head. when you stop it from sliding move your foot back a little and replace your foot with your hand. and always hold it from the neck. never hold it from the tail, snakes can and will turn themselves around and attack.once your ready to let it go, do the same steps backwards

If you're having trouble finding them, drive seldom-used roads and highways at night for a couple hours during the summer months preferably a couple days after a rain.
