I asked my mechanic to flush and change the fluid in my 2006 Ford Escape. The steering was slipping as I turned to the right. I also specified to put Motorcraft Mercon V ATF as my steering fluid. He refused, and put regular fluid in and claiming it was rediculous to use ATF. He then claimed the changing, with the regular steering fluid, did not work.
