EGI.. do you mean EGR?
You need to take the intake manifold off and radiator
It's behind the manifold on the driver side
on a 2.5l it is mounted on the intake plennum in the back against the firewall
The EGR valve is mounted on the rear of the engine. It is connected to two pipes, just above the bell housing.
is your car is a v6 2.7 it will be on the trans mission by the EGR
The EGR Vacuum Solenoid on a 2001 Chrysler Lxi Coupe 3.0 V6 should be on the left of the upper manifold. The black cylinder that's on the outside is what you're looking for, it's on the otherside connected to the same plate as that. May have to remove the manifold or just unbolt it. You can buy the Solenoid from any auto store or google image search one for either the 01' Sebring, Stratus, or Mitsu Eclipse. They are all the same.
Start and stall out, possibly. Not start at all, not likely.
The EGR valve is on the front passenger side corner of the engine.
How do you replace the EGR Valve on a 2001 Ford Escape?

can you eliminate the egr on a 1973 318 chrysler motor
