hand crank or power windows ? i guess it is about the same,disconnect battery, make sure all screws are removed from door your taking apart,especially around inside door handle.The inside cover s snap on and to get them off find a corner easiest to get to and slide a long flat screw driver behind panel slowly prying it towards you and one of the snap on keepers should start to losen up.Once you get one free,work on the rest.Should be about 7 to 8 to each door.Once panel loose,then disconnect power switches at connector and remove panel.Now you have access to regulator. Now some are screwed in others are riveted in,sooo, you are either unscrewing or drilling out rivets. Replace rivets with nuts and bolts when installing new regulator.Oh you might want a bud to hold glass up while you are switching out regulators.And of course make sure you have the right regulator for the right door. left means left and right means right, been there done that !

The bracket snaps on the window over the plastic pin in the window. You need to pull the bracket away from the window to get it down and over the plastic pin. If you will be replacing the window regulator you can just cut the bracket where it snaps over the pin.
