I am sure you can - but the clutch is abpout the same price as a rebuilt compressor. So last time i did this I bought the compressor, removed the cluth, and put it on my car compressor. I still have a compressor if I need one. Be sure your compressor is not locked up before you go buy anything.
If it is working fine, and the noise is only when it is disengaged you should only need to change the clutch on the compressor not the entire compressor. If there is room to pull the clutch off on the truck, then there is no need to evacuate the refrigerant.

sounds like your A.C. compressor clutch is locking up
The air compressor is below the window washer bottle below the air cleaner on the driver's side behind the headlight.
There is one for the AC compressor clutch and one for the blower motor high speed.
