How do you change a Ford Windstar front wheel bearing when ABS is in front of top bolt?

The axle has to be pushed back out of the way.
From what I have read, and experienced with other Ford products (Sable wheel bearings just today), the axle has to be pushed back on all of these in order to access the top hub/bearing assembly bolt.
