Learning to change bike tires, replace tubes, reinstall chains ad make all manner of field repairs is an essential aspect of becoming a viable bicycle user. Unless you enjoy long walks back over distances easily covered on a working bike (Rule of Life: Your bike will peferentially break down at the far end of your day's trip at a point where no help is readily available)
These tasks are ususaly within the capacity of any biker equipped with a set of simple tools and a modicum of technical knowhow.
As far as the tire goes:
It takes very little skill or effort to change a bike tire. Anyone who rides a bike should be able to do it.
Pretty much the same way you change any other bicycle tire. I'll post a link that tells you how.
hump it
pull the outer part of the tire off pull off the deflated bike tube replace it with a new bike tube put the outer part of the tire on
In order to find the proper replacement for your bike tire you need to measure the wheel and determine which type of tire your bike uses. You can also take it to a bike repair shop and they can help you pick out a replacement tire.

You can find a bike tire by visiting a local bike shop or even a retail store like Walmart.
depends on what kind of tire you are talking about like a bike tire or car tire or a motorcycletire slash /dirt bike tire. be more specific next time. bub!
The fork of the bike is where the front tire is placed.
there was a bike in the car and the bike had a flat tire
The tire size is usually printed on the sidewall of the tire. If you think it looks skinny or fat on there you can change to a tire with another width. Diameter has to stay the same though. If your bike is sitting on naked rims you can try measuring the rims, www.sheldonbrown.com has a nice page about tire sizes. This can be quite tricky though, so I'd advise you to bring the bike to a bike store and have them pick out a tire for you. There are several sizes that are close enough to be confused yet too far apart to be interchangeable.
as long as it's the same size. But I'm telling you....it's a pain in the butt trying to change out the rear!!AnswerI've tried it, and had the bike ride very poorly. This is on the street, by the way. Bike got very unstable in corners, rear tire tended to wander around when riding straight.
