How do you change a blower motor resistor for a 2000 Nissan maxima v6?

The resistor is located behind the glove box.
1) Remove the 2 glove box latck sctews.
2) Remove the 4 screws holding the glove box, 2 on the tow and 2 on the bottom.
3)With the glove box removed, you will see the resistor located below the blower motor. Un plug, remove the 2 screws, and replace with new.

Can be replaced with a small link of unmelted solder.
