It would be better to get the car on car ramps or jack the front up high as possible. Safely put jackstands and secure the vehicle before crawling under it. Crawl under the vehicle and stick your arms through the crossmember until you feel the four bolts of the coil pack with your fingers. Use a small socket to remove the four bolts. If at all possible, get someone with very small hands and arms to get through the crossmember. It is possible to do but someone has to be able to get to the coil pack through the crossmember and still be able to get the socket on the bolts. They also need to be able to pull the three plugs that connect to the DIS which is under the coil pack.
the ignition coil on a 2004 chevy cavalier is the black part on top of the engine were it says eco 2.2 but its not hard to miss its very easy to change as well
