You need to remove the old crank sensor it is located near the oil filter it is held on by one bolt, you will also have to detach it from its connection under the fuel bar this is very difficult to get to and you might break your dip stick housing in the process as I did if you don't want to remove a lot of engine parts to get to it. Changing the crank sensor is easy to do the difficult part is getting to its location.
First You want to drain the oil in the car and remove the oil filter this will make it easier to get to the Crank sensor bolt, although you can leave the oil filter in place. Next remove the VW engine cover the one next to the dip stick. Remove the 2 nuts holding the aluminum plate this is where a few hoses are attached to, next remove the bolts attached to the intake manifold you will need some hex keys to do this. Remove the dip stick from the aluminum plate, "Dip stick housing may break" Move the plate out of the way detach sensor, this is kinda difficult since its tucked under the fuel rail.
Hope this helps a bit. Total time to remove the crank sensor is under 4 hours
The distributor is the crank sensor. If the timing belt was changed and the check engine light came on, the shaft that drives the distributor could be out of time.

The loss of the Tehuelche language is significant because it represents a loss of cultural heritage and identity for the Tehuelche people. Without their language, they may struggle to pass down traditional knowledge, beliefs, and practices to future generations. This loss can contribute to a decline in their sense of community and connection to their history.

Ford recommends changing it every 5,000-7,500 miles. I would go with the 5,000 mile interval especially if I were towing anything or doing lots of stop and go driving.http://performancewise.net/ford-6-0l-power-stroke-problems-2/
