Open the hood. Above the headlights under the hood on the flat surface above the headlights are two metal rods. They are exposed and are about an inch long. They are held in place with plastic tabs. These two metal rod hold the headlight assembly in place. Pull these two rods up and out of the headlight assembly. The entire headlight assembly will come loose and you have full access to the light bulb socket on the back of the light bulb assembly. Very clever way of doing things, just hard to figure out.
