to change rotor
jack up vehicle
remove wheel
remove brake calipre just like u are going to replace brake pads
remove calipre mount
remove dust cap from center of hub
remove codder pin from castle nut
remove castle nut
slide rotor off axle being careful not to drop bearings
note: this would be a good time to replace wheel bearings
install bearings in new rotor
install rear seal in rotor
slide new rotor onto axle
continue assembly opposite to removal
if you are careful u will not have to bleed brakes as you do not need to remove fluid line from caliper,
good time to replace brake pads as well

You remove your Water pump after that you'll figer it out
Remove wheels Remove caliper mounting bolts Slide caliper off rotor Rotor should slide off hub
check your water pump it has a weep hole in the bottom and will usually run down the front right side of motor
Remove the tire and wheel. Remove the brake pads and hardware. The rotor will slide off. Reverse the process to install the new pads and rotor.
Yes you just have to change the headlights from a 1998 to the 1996 with the bumper change.
Remove the hubcaps and wheels. Remove the two large bolts that hold the brake caliper to the steering knuckle. pull the caliper out of the way. There are two large Philips head screws that hold the rotor to the hub. Remove them and slide the rotor off the hub. Just did this to my '96. Hope it helps
190 degrees Fahrenheit ( the Motorcraft part number depends on which size engine you have )
They should both be 8x170mm IIRC, so yes. The older ones, pre 96 I think, had 8x6.8" IIRC.
On a 1996 Ford Explorer : On the front of the lower control arms you will see a hook ( or bar ) The factory jack is put there to change a front tire
