Disconnect the battery ground cable. Raise and support the vehicle. Fuel filter is located directly in front of the fuel tank. Remove the fuel filter outlet pipe. Disconnect the fuel filter inlet pipe. Remove the fuel filter and bracket. Remove the fuel filter. Remove the bolt. Slide out the fuel filter. Installation WARNING: Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel related components. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and can ignite. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury NOTE: Observe the direction of flow arrow. To install, reverse the removal procedure. --Added this line-- Don't forget to crank the engine a few times to depressurize fuel lines, otherwise fuel might spill while removing filter.
