Remove the tyre, remove the axle nut, pull the hub out, undo the top and bottom ball joint and steering arm. You will not be able to free shaft. Cv will pull straight out of the diff (may need bit of a tug), once shaft is out, pull teh rubber boot back and use a hammer to hit the outer cv off, will need a reasonable hit. You will not be able to remove old boot and fit the new one. Now reverse process to out back together
It's part of the driveshaft outer cv joint. Replace the shaft as per 2002 Clio 1.5dci
