The Chilton for the 87-96 models says to 1. Remove the headlamp assembly ataching screws. 2. Pull the headlamp asembly out and disconnect the parking lamp socket from the headlamp body 3. Replace the bulb 4. Installation is the reverse of removal That is the what the book has to say I

Chances are the lense is just stuck in place. You will probably need to pry up on it a little from all corners to avoid cracking it.

you may need to check your brake fluid level.
Low brake fluid in master cylinder, fault in brake fluid level sensor, parking brake is on, parking brake sensor fault.
remove the trunk lining or bend it back easy where the brake light is to access it and change it out.
