I had this happen on my 1974 Dodge Dart swinger. A mopar guru gave me this tip and it worked like a charm. The internal contacts for the nobs after so many years build up dirt and reduce or completely restrict the flow of current. To clean them you have to completely remove the instrument panel, Not fun, and then youl have access to the internal workings of your dash light nob. All you need is some sand paper and you can clean those contacts up so there as good as new. I had been driving without my dash lights for at least two years till I heard about this trick from the mopar guru. Now my dash lights work great.
very simple, open trunk, turn bulb socket to the left and pull socket and bulb from rear taillight, twist bulb out of the socket and install new bulb and install bulb and socket back into taillight and turn right to lock it in.
if in grille 2 Phillips screws in lense - remove then twist bulb out- if in trunk pull bulb sockets from housing and twist bulbs
bulbs are on a circuit board and they twist out, just reach your hand under the dash and twist the sockets out and replace the bulb in the socket and reinstall.
reach up under the dash with your hand and each one is in a socket that you twist out to change the bulb, there are no wires attached to the sockets as the dash is solid state.
reach up under the dash and each bulb is in a twist in socket, twist the socket and pull out each one individually and replace bulb in socket and reinstall.
no, the dart was never a twister model but the dodge demon made that model in 1971.
The switch is located on the steering column right before it exits the cab.
The lock is accessible by removing the steering wheel and the signal switch underneath. You have to depress the spring loaded catch that is visible from above with the tip of a flat blade screwdriver and it will pop out.
yes you should be able to make it fit.
28 to 32 degrees on the dwell, if you set it at 30 you will be perfect.
I believe the hazard switch is used as the turn signal flasher in 71 bus. No extra flasher involved... I believe the hazard switch is used as the turn signal flasher in 71 bus. No extra flasher involved...
With no key you will have to drill out the existing tumbler assembly from the switch in order to unscrew the ignition switch bezel.
you have to jack up the engine one side at a time and replace them.
The bentley manual "green book" has all the wiring diagrams you need.
