First it's best to have an extra pair of hands to help you.

You have to open the trunk first. Then look at what would be the back side of the whole light assembly. There are approx. 8-10 nuts that are attached to the bolts/posts of the rear light assembly. Remove the nuts, lower the trunk lid to about waist high and carefully pull the assembly straight out. Watch that you don't scratch your paint with the posts. Have your helper hold the assembly while you remove the light socket for the bulb you want to replace by turning socket counter clockwise about a quarter turn and pulling straight out. Replace bulb and reverse process
