Should be at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
Under neath the alternator the are 4 ten or 6 mm in the housing and two pipes coming out of the housing where the thermostat in dont forget to replace the gasket around the housing
Remove the 2 bolts at the thermostat housing. The upper hose goes to the thermostat housing.
Usually in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
The 1998 Ford Fiesta 1.3 liter engine temperature sending unit can be found on the front of the engine. The temperature sending unit will be near the thermostat housing.
the radiator top hose, follow it, it should go on to a housing on the engine block which is bein held in by 2 or 3 nuts.

take off the air manifold, and under it is a big black box (thermostat housing), take off thermostat housing gasket (smaller black piece on top of housing and thermostat is inside it.
The Ford puma thermostat housing is on the side of the engine, with two hoses connected to it. Be sure to replace the gasket when installing the housing.
The thermostat housing is at the end of the big hose going to the radiator on top of the engine. Take the hose loose from the housing and take the 2 bolts out of the housing to replace the thermostat. REMEMBER......The spring on the thermostat always goes towards the engine.
