To change the transmission filter on a 2004 Toyota Corolla, first, ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and secure it with jack stands. Drain the Transmission Fluid by removing the drain plug, then remove the transmission pan by unscrewing the bolts. Take out the old filter, clean the pan, and install the new filter, ensuring the gasket is properly seated. Finally, reattach the pan, refill the transmission with new fluid through the dipstick tube, and check the fluid level.
You don't change it. It is a permanent filter in the fuel tank.
You don't have a fuel filter on a 2004 Honda accord ,its in the fuel tank itself and not a separate fuel filter,
You do not need to change the fuel filter at all unless the pump fails. Then you change it. And yes, you must drop the tank.
these transmisions are called "no maintenance " transmision they do not have a dipstick like an ordinary transmision, they have a filter and when you remove the filter to clean you can see if the oil level is corect.
The transmission oil filter is remotely located on the 2004 model. Follow the transmission oil lines and they will lead you to a removable kick panel on the drivers side. Remove this panel and you will find your spin on trans oil filter. Cheers! The transmission oil filter is remotely located on the 2004 model. how do you install a fuel filter on an 04 kia Rio
To change the transmission fluid on a 2004 Cadillac SRX, start by warming up the vehicle to thin the fluid for easier drainage. Then, safely lift the vehicle and place it on jack stands. Remove the transmission pan bolts, allowing the old fluid to drain into a pan, and then replace the filter if applicable. Once the pan is clean, reattach it with a new gasket, refill the transmission with new fluid through the dipstick tube, and check the fluid level according to the manufacturer's specifications.
remove the engine and transmission from the car, then remove engine flywheel and it will be right there
Had same trouble with my 04 Sequoia.. Flushed and change transmission fluid and had no more trouble..
I do believe that, from about 99 on up, it was not serviceable... it's in the gas tank with the pump and the rear seat have to come out... I have seen a couple people say they have confirmed this with the dealership on 99, 03, and 04 models.
