Loosen all of the motor mount retaining bolts. Jack one side of the 2000 Nissan engine up. Remove the retaining bolt. Remove the motor mount bushing and replace it with a new one. Do the same thing for all for motor mounts. Let the engine back into its original position and tighten the retaining bolts.
how many motor mounts does a 2005 nissan altima have
no more then $30 for each mount replacement
4 motor mounts
3 totaling 279$
1 under air filter, 1 beside p/s tank, 2 on cross member underneath only 2.4 liter
it is 3, one by the fire wall is hard to change you need to pick up the engine and trans. to change it.
Check the motor mounts
yes it will with the correct engine mounts, cross member and loom
I know that the ECMs are the same. If the mounts match up I would go for it.
it has three...one up top on the passanger side and 2 below..one is up front in the middle and the other back by transmission..my altima needs all of them replaced!!
You need to support the engine when removing any mounts. The mounts bolt to the engine, and bolt to the unibody of the car. You can find the locations of all of the engine mounts by hunting around the engine bay or by picking up a Chiltons and Haynes manual.
