The drain plug should be located on the lower passenger side corner of the radiator, facing back towards the seats. Once drained, I'd detach the upper radiator hose and heater hoses from the radiator and pour some system flush or CLR in them and let them sit after you've reattached the hoses. After the flush or CLR has sat for about 10 minutes or so, disconnect the heater hoses again. Either using compressed air or water (I'm partial to air, but not everyone has an air compressor), blow it into the outlet hose, and flush any particulates which have gathered in the heater core out the inlet hose (for more on this, find EricTheCarGuy on YouTube, and watch his video, "How To Unclog a Heater Core"... there's a few things I do different than the way he does it, but his way works, either with air or compressed water).

After that, you'll want to flush the cooling system. Reattach the upper radiator hose, and separate the lower radiator hose from the radiator, and aim it towards a container or drain pan of some sort. Remove the radiator cap, and place a garden hose in there. Turn the water on, and start up the engine. Once the engine warms up and the thermostat opens up, the water will run through and flush out the system flush or CLR and any built up particulates. Once you're satisfied with the flush, shut off the engine, shut off the water, and let any remaining water drain out. Reattach all hoses, and fill with antifreeze. Go for a drive. When you come back and have let the vehicle cool down, check your antifreeze level again and top it off as needed.
