remove the 2 screws from the red plastic and gently pry the red cover off.
Check the bulbs they are double filamented with smaller being for brake lights
change the brake lights check the fuse check the brake light swtch
abs codes are retreved by juming obd2 terminal 4-12 after codes plump brake petal 6 times
there is a major problem in the brake system if both lights stay on. have it checked before you have no brakes at all
it would be the brake light switch about 20 dollars at autozone
change the fuse if not replace flasher
The coolant temperature sensor is located under the hood of the car. The sensor is located to the left of the brake booster at the rear of the engine.Ê
Change brake light bulbs Just remove the rear license plate. You can change the backup lights and brake light easily.
Brake lights on can mean no brake fluid, worn out brake pads, faults in the master cylinder. Must take your car to the garage immediately. Worn out brake pads can damage the discs which are expensive to change.
For the rear, remove the tire and wheel. Remove the Brake Caliper and Brake pad bracket. Then the rotor should slide off the wheel studs. The front may have to have the spindle retaining nut and cotter pin removed once the brake pad bracket is removed. Be careful to not get dirt in the bearing.
