Cabin filter isn't called for in the 2000. You can purchase the cabin filter for the 2000 Buick regal and it will fit. Remove the plastic piece under the passenger side windshield wiper, the box for the filter is just under that sitting above the HVAC fan. While in there check to make sure there is no dirt build up, and the weather stripping is intact. If it comes loose or there is dirt build up you will end up with water on your passenger floor board.
