∙ 16y agoTo install a clutch disk on a 1997 VW GTi the transmission will have to be removed from the engine. Once off the engine access the flywheel and remove it. Loosen and remove the clutch disk mounting hardware as well as the pressure plate. Install the replacement. Put everything back together than bleed the clutch.
