If you are referring to the wiring, replacement is done by replacing the entire engine harness. Most people trace down the open or short in the wire and repair the specific location.
the crankshaft position sensor is located in between engine and trans passenger side. it easy to change . It is in the top of the bell housing on the pass side, under the trans dipstick tube.
I mean a Trans position sensor I mean a Trans position sensor
It has a crank reference sensor by the crank pulley that adjusts timing and a #1 position sensor were trans and engine meet on left side of engine that starts spark sequence.
there may be two. one on the block facing the radiator fan close to the trans, the other under the crank pulley
Good news and it is not about car insurance . Your vehicle speed sensor is acting up . VSS sensor . If your car has 100,000 miles or more then change the crankshaft position sensor with it , these are highly problemmatic .
it is the sensor that sticks in the bell housing between the eng and trans held in by a 10mm bolt top back side of the trans remove the snorkle and air box to see it
on the passanger side. it i located on the trans housing where the engine and trans meet.
It goes through the bell housing behind the trans dipstick tube behind the passenger side cylinder head.
the crank potion sensor is located under the front end of the car directly in front of the transmission. Actually when you look at it, it almost looks like it goes in to the trans.
On a v6 or v8 bolted to cylinder block near the rear of the passenger side head. The sensor sticks down through the top of the trans bell housing.
should be on the block about 2/3 way down on the pass. side, or on top of the trans on the drivers side
not if you are mechanically incl. its on the trans bell housing near the motor on the backside of the trans. its probably easier to get to by going through the bottom of the vehicle by jacking it up and putting it on stands.
