For the V6 - 3vze engine: you have to pull off the air plenum on top of the motor (3VZE Engine model). There are a lot of hoses and tubes, but if you label them with masking tape, it is a straightforward job. Get an air plenum gasket because they will often rip when you pull the plenum ($5 at an auto parts store).

Underneath the plenum is the fuel rails for that hold the injectors in place. These are held in place by 4 bolts, but they bolt in at an angle so you need to loosen the fuel line that runs between them. If you remove the rails completely, you will want to replace to copper gaskets on the fuel lines.

Once the rails are unbolted, the fuel injectors come out right out. Be careful with the electric clips as they have a tendency to break when you remove them. I have 3 on my truck that are now held in place by zip-ties.

Assembly is the opposite of removal (with new plenum gasket).

Rebuilding the injectors is reasonably priced, as is swapping out for new ones.
