remove the connecting wire - 8mm nut i think, then 10 or 13 mm deep socket on each one and un-do
To replace glow plugs on a Peugeot 405 turbo diesel, remove the connecting wire. Take off the 8 mm nut, followed by the 10 mm deep socket. Remove the old plugs and replace with new.
For plugs that can be adjusted the NGK catalogue states 0.8mm for all engine sizes of 405.
The glow plug relay unit is attached to the battery housing on the 405
Remove the intercooler (requires an Allen key and a 10mm spanner) - take care with the gasket between the intercooler and the inlet manifold , use an 8mm spanner to remove the nuts securing the power bus bar on the glow plugs, use a 12mm spanner and or socket to remove the glow plugs from the engine block - access is very poor - reverse the procedure to fit new plugs.
405 1.9 L 2L and most of the smaller engines are 80,000 KM
yes, some adjustment required, might need to change some mounting points, but i've done it
In a word, NO!
where is dim dip relay located on a peugeot 307
If you have the right tools its not too bad. To make life easy you need to remove the inlet manifold. Then remove the cables with 8mm spanner. Now you can get the plugs and they'll be tight. You really need to use a 12mm socket and you might need a bar. After you got them all out putting the new ones in is really easy.
