Pull light switch out one position for front fog lights; pull out two positions for front and rear
The switch that turns the headlights on. PULL it back once for front fogs(if fitted) and twice for rear fogs. This will only work with the headlights on though(sidelights or dipped) OK

The ford mondeo is a European cars, the head lights and the grill from th ford mondeo, they look semilar as those from the ford contour
Once you have turned on the head lights, pull the switch towards you twice. The first time that you pull it will turn on the rear fogs, the second should be the driving lamps.

Depending on your model of Astra (And possibly country of origin) the interior light switch is most commonly located next to the courtesy light on the roof in between the front passenger & driver seats. It has a 3-phase setting - on, off & door.
