Yes, it is possible and it's very easy too. You have to click on "Start" and then on "Run".

Type in: cmd and press enter Type in: ipconfig/release and press enter Type in: ipconfig/renew and press enter Your IP should have changed now. If not, disconnect your internet cable for up to five minutes or a bit more and then try these instructions again.

This might not work if you have a static IP address. But even a static one can be changed. Go on YouTube to watch tutorials on how to do that 'cause I don't remember correctly.

You can also change your IP address by faking IP addresses from foreign countries. There are programs which can do that. You should find them on Google.

Under normal circumstances, you will not want to change your IP address unless you have specific network training to do so. Changing an IP address will affect network connectivity. At home, this means internet. At work, it means a lot of other problems. However, if you know what you're doing, follow these steps:

1. In Windows 7, type Network and Sharing Center in the Start menu

2. Click Change adapter settings

3. Right click on your network connection and select Properties

4. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)

5. Click Properties

6. Select Use the following IP address

You can now manually enter an IP address, subnet mask and default gateway.

***NOTE: Your network has one subnet mask and one default gateway. If you do not have this information, you should not alter your IP address.***
