Assuming this is the 3.3 V6 engine, open the hood and remove the plastic engine cover to expose the black cartridge type oil filter housing. Turn the black filter housing cover counter clockwise to remove and expose the oil filter cartridge. If cover won't loosen by hand use a "strap wrench" or a "band filter wrench" but be gentle. The engine oil drain plug should be removed for this entire process. Remove the old oil filter and install the new one. Be sure to change the two o-rings on the cover with the new o-rings supplied with the new filter. Coat the new o-rings with clean oil to aid in the installation. Gently spin the cover back on by hand and hand tighten only. Inspect or replace drain plug gasket and install drain plug back into oil pan. Install the correct amount (6 qts) and type (5W-20) of oil back into engine. Start and run engine for a few minutes. Shut engine off and check for leaks. Check oil level with dipstick. If all is ok install engine cover. Done.
where is the transmission filter on a 2005 Hyundai Santa-fe
01 SANTA FE HAS AN INTANK FUEL FILTER THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A LIFETIME FILTER.
hyundai santa fe ac condensor
The oil filter is located on a Hyundai Santa Fe 3.5L V6 underneath the front of the engine. There is a protective cover that must be removed to expose the oil filter.
It is under the car.
1. Remove the old one. 2. Install a new one. Viola!
The problem is that the oil filter is on the top of the engine. I just want to make sure there are no tricks involced.
to the right of the oil filter
The 2004 Santa Fe transmission doesn't have a serviceable filter. There's one deep inside the transmission, but the transmission needs to be removed and disassembled to get to it. The only time that filter would be replaced is if the transmission were overhauled. This is the answer I found online, and after trying to change the filter on a 2002 Santa Fe, I believe it completely.
In the fuel tank
It has one air filter for the engine.
