Warm the car slightly, not too hot, to make the oil flow better. Jack front of car up, support car with jack stands (never go under car with just a jack), loosen oil add cap on the valve covers, open oil drain plug on the oil pan and catch oil in a container, once that is done draining, put the plug back on. Not too tight or you will strip the threads. Then go to the oil filter unscrew it. Take new filter, put a bead of new oil on the rubber gasket and screw it on. Read the filter to see how tight to make it. Then add oil in the amount specified in your manual. Then start it up and check for leaks. Stop wait a little and check the level in the dipstick. You should put a new gasket on the oil drain plug. Then dispose of oil at your local recycling center or autozone. HTH
