What about it?
Replace the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) in your transmission. It is the same part number for an automatic transmission and a manual transmission in those year models.
nothing but genuine Honda ATF.
A 1993 Honda Civic automatic transmission holds 2.9 quarts of fluid. The factory recommendation is Honda Genuine ATF-Z1 automatic transmission fluid. An alternative is a DEXRON II (now replaced by DEXRON III).
Both models are the 5th generation so they should have the same transmission.
No it will not interchange. You need an Accord transmission from a 1990-1993.
On the transmission under the hood, you will find a very small dip stick. You check and add at this point. Owners manual gives the location. Warning, Use only Honda A/T fluid.
NOPE, manual transmission you usually shouldn't run low on oil in a stick. If you really would like to check you can follow what it says in the owners manual where it says to check it by taking out the filler bolt and see if the oil is level with the filler hole.....
To replace the axle on a 1993 Honda Civic the axle nut has to come off. The hub assembly also will need to be pulled back so the axle can be pulled from the transmission.
