Remove the Suzuki 450 oil pan plug. Allow the oil to drain out of the oil pan. Replace the plug to the oil pan. Fill the motor with oil.

It says to put .4qts (400ml) in the case and 1.4qts (1400ml) in the jug. If you have tranny whine then add 200ml extra. so... .5qts in the crankcase and 1.5qts in the jug rotella 15w40 works the best for the tranny whine too. yes the $11 1 gallon jug you can get at walmart... www.ltr450hq.com

Obviously, like other motorcycles Suzuki requires maintenance as well, change oil filter as well on every engine oil change.
There is one bolt on the bottom of the oil tank. The oil tank is located near the header pipe up front. There is also 2 horizontally mounted drain bolts on the bottom of the motor itself under the plastic OEM skid plate. Be careful and take your time, the 2 bottom ones tend to strip often!
No you only change the filter when you change the oil.
I ride a Suzuki M50 BLVD and their is no oil reset button. I do not know about the Suzuki C50 BLVD.
