This operation is NOT for the faint of heart, mechanically speaking. It is a challenge even for an experienced technician. You will have to remove the intake manifold as the spark plug holes are buried underneath it. You will need to replace the metallic manifold gasket as part of this operation.
To get the manifold off you may have to remove part of the cooling system (there is a metal pipe that runs from the thermostat area down the length of the intake manifold valley for example).
When I did mine it was discovered that the water pump was leaking coolant out of it's weephole, so check that out too as the time to replace it is when you have the engine all torn down for the plugs issue.
If you do replace the water pump then replace the backing plate as well and you should consider replacing the timing belt and idler pulleys/bearings at the same time.
TIP: take lots of pictures (with a digital camera) as it comes apart to reference each electrical connector and mark each bolt and hole to get them back where they belong. Remember that when working with any casting the fit must be perfect before any bolts are tightened and that the bolts must be increasingly torqued in a repeated pattern to keep from cracking the casting.

95 montero takes 6 plugs
Remove the alternator. The rest will then be obvious.
change the plugs and wires
you either did not gap the plugs to spec or you put this wires on wrong
Check plugs and wires
Any good quality plug and wire set will be fine for this car. There is really no need to buy real expensive plugs and wires for this vehicle. Accel makes good plugs and wires.
To change the spark plugs in a 1995 Suzuki Sidekick, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the spark plug wires by gently twisting and pulling them off, then use a spark plug socket and ratchet to unscrew the old plugs. Install the new spark plugs by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten them with a ratchet. Finally, reconnect the spark plug wires and reattach the battery terminal.
Change spark plugs and wires, change all fluids, check o2 sensors, distributor and rotor cap possibly, change all filters...and a fat wallet...
To change the spark plugs on the passenger side of a 1995 Camaro Z28, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the intake duct to gain access to the spark plugs, then carefully detach the spark plug wires by pulling them straight off the plugs. Use a spark plug socket and ratchet to unscrew the old plugs, then install the new plugs, tightening them to the manufacturer’s specifications. Finally, reconnect the spark plug wires and the intake duct before reconnecting the battery.
Screwed into the engine. Follow the spark plug wires.
On top of the motor you will see the plug wires going down the middle of the valve cover. The plugs are under those wires.
