You will need to remove theentire tail lamp assembly to do this. open the rear tail gate. locate the 2 10mm nuts (black plastic) on the right side of the leftbrake lamp assembly, (should also have a slotfor a Phillips screw driver). Remove these 2 nuts. Tail lamp assembly is then pressed into a grommetat the rear. You will need to pull straight out towardsthe rear. (Might be tight) I sometimes use a plasticwedge to help pry off tail lamp assembly. Once tail lamp is out, just depress the 2 plasticclips to release the bulbs from inside the assembly. Open rear hatch. On the body next to the tail light is 2 screws. Remove 2 phillips head screws. Pull on tail lamp. It should pop out, be careful there are 2 clips on tail light that will break. They are used to help hold tail lamp into body. After pulling tail lamp and not breaking tabs( if you do break it will still mount back up) there are a few screws that fasten a circuit board to inside of tail lamp (dont be scared of the term circuit board its really not that technical) remove them. Pull circuit board, Now most of the time these boards are burned out and is the reason for bulbs not working on these models. I would replace bulbs and circuit board if it showed any sign of melting. Please let me know if this helped.
