Open the hood, slightly lift the flexible skirt covering the back of the assembly and work your hand to the bulb socket. There is a little latch on the side that you have to press in and then you can turn the whole socket 1/4 turn ccw to remove the socket and bulb. Pull the bulb out and install a new "Long Life " bulb. Reverse the instructions to install the assembly. Takes about 30 minutes the first time and about three the second time. Buy two bulbs and change them both
