Disconnect large cable from the terminal on the starter motor and solenoid terminal connections.
Remove starter/solenoid mounting bolts (top and bottom).
Separate the assembly from the transmission bellhousing.
Detach and remove starter from engine.

Also, you might need to jack up the truck and put it on jack stands and turn the wheels to one side to get good access.
20.3 gallons
filter change low oil front pump
about 7-13 mpg
it is mounted in the dash on the drivers side. It is designed to be see from out side the vehicle.
A few possibilities here. Oil and oil filter issues, fuel injector issues, cam issues.
It is located on the inside of the firewall, left of the steering column. It is way up and hard to see and get to, but it is there!
It is a mechanical fuel pump located on the engine. It is in the drivers side front below the distributor.
its on the passenger side front near the front tire
I have not found a vin on the frame. There is one on the dash visible to the outside through the windshield and there is one under the hood on the drivers side on the firewall.

My owner's manual for my 1988 Grand Wagoneer has a diagram that shows the cigareete lighter fuse to be a 10 amp fuse located 1 tier up from the bottom of the fuse box on the left hand corner. It is apparently the same fuse as for the radio.
