You need to open the trunk, and look behind the light that needs to be changed there should be plastic "nuts" usually with tabs on it to make them easier to turn. Take the nuts off and tail light assembly should come out of recessed area and then the bulb sockets have a locking tab on it, squeeze the tab in and turn the socket (usually counterclockwise) about a quarter turn and take out of tail light assembly and change bulb. Reverse procedure to reinstall.
