It can be done. Use a socket and wrench to break it loose then a little at a time. It is tight and tough but a little patience will get it done. On my 1995 S10 V6 I had to put socket onto plug and use an open end wrench on socket to remove and install this plug. It was the devil to work around the steering column sticking right out from the plug. No way to get a ratchet on the socket without disassembly I wouldn't want to tackle. That stove around the manifold doesn't help either! Good luck!
The spark plug gap for a 1998 Chevy Lumina (with 3.1L or 3.8L engine) is .060".
Change one at a time to avoid mixing up the firing order.
.045.
The 1998 Chevrolet Silverado V-8 engine spark plug gap is .031. Most spark plugs come pre-gapped from the spark plug manufacturer.

To change the spark plugs in a Chevy Celebrity: 1. Give the spark plug boot a twist to free it up from the spark plug, then pull on the boot to remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug. 2. Use a 5/8" spark plug socket with an extension and ratchet or breaker bar to loosen then remove the spark plug. 3. Set the gap on the new plug to .045" then screw it back into the spark plug hole in the head. Tighten the spark plug and replace the spark plug wire. I change the spark plugs one at a time to keep from getting the spark plug wires on the wrong spark plug.
Need to know what engine it has to answer that one.
You need a 5/8" spark plug socket.
