It should be under the dash between the radio and accelerator. You can change it yourself, but it will have to be programmed by a dealer or mechanic.

To change the bcm in a 04 Chevy Trailblazer you have to flip up the back drivers side seat cushion and it's under there. First you take off the black plastic cover then you will see the bcm on the fron side of the fuse box, more near the drivers seat. It has a lock bar that must be pushed towards the passenger side of the car, it has a green electrical connector that pops out and 2 connectors that pop out so a total of 3 electrical connectors have to pop out to remove the bcm. Hope this helps.
