To change the bcm in a 04 Chevy Trailblazer you have to flip up the back drivers side seat cushion and it's under there. First you take off the black plastic cover then you will see the bcm on the fron side of the fuse box, more near the drivers seat. It has a lock bar that must be pushed towards the passenger side of the car, it has a green electrical connector that pops out and 2 connectors that pop out so a total of 3 electrical connectors have to pop out to remove the bcm.
Hope this helps.
It should be under the dash between the radio and accelerator. You can change it yourself, but it will have to be programmed by a dealer or mechanic.
how to use bcm to reset change oil light
You don't. This is regulated by the BCM.
san bernardino ca. on 3rd st
The instrument cluster is also the body computer.
in the fuse panel located in the engine comparment
The BCM for an XG Falcon is located under the dash. It is mounted just to the left of the hand brake, and should be easy to change.
inside the center console - right side - the panel is held in with a velcro tab in the front. You will find the second of three fuse panels within - that is also the BCM.
The Hyundai Dealership may have to "flash" the new BCM. They generally charge one hour labor for this service.
It does not have a BCM.
There are 2 BCM's on my 2002 GMC Envoy. The first in under the left side of the rear seat. (This is the one I had to change on mine) The second is in the rear liftgate. You'll have to remove the panel to get access to it.
Take out the old BCM and replaced with a used one with similar number. It worked for me in Chevy Mailbu. It costed me only $20 whereas dealer was asking $800. My car worked after spending $20 for BCM module from Junk Yard. Ensure you take old BCM module and match the number
