You will need a long Phillips (+) screwdriver. the air filter housing (black, watermelon size casing) is located passenger side, front of vehicle. disconnect any electrical connectors touching this. on all 4 corners of the air filter housing are the screws which tighten the housing down. unscrew each one. the screws will not fall out, they are made to loosen but not fall out (granted yours is not broken or damaged). once loose, it takes a little wiggle, but it pulls up and out. on the other end (of the tube part), its very simple; it just pulls right off. place the new air filter inside, push the "tube end" back on its intake hole, wiggle some more to line up the housing screws, and screw tight. start your trailblazer and check to make sure its proper: whistles= not tight or screws were not lined up right. make sure not dash 'warning lights' are on.
