on the drivers side of the engine compartment there is a rectangular black plastic box. it has 4 clips near the corners. the clips are easily pushed off the tabs on the top of the box. once this is done, pulling up on the box exposes the filter. grab the filter, pull it out and install the new one in its place. Make sure you haven't pulled a hose loose at the back. Wrestling the top cover off the filter might pull one off the back behind the cover. They easily slip back on if you do.

Find the air filter housing, the big black unit on the drivers side under the hood. It has clips that latch it into place. remove the clips and lift the cover, replace the filter and return the cover and re-latch it.
