You must first take off the serpentine belt, this is very easy if you have a belt remover from autozone...20$ The small pulley on the bottom left can be pulled up with the belt remover and the tension will be released. Then there are two bolts on the alternator that you must remove and then pull off the alternator...you can see pictures on autozone's website...go to repairs and type in alternator repair
