i suggest you replace upper and lowers at yhe same time, you will need a ball joint press either way. but you need to remove steering knuckle as a unit. then press in/out ball joints. not a big deal i you have the tools ,you also could bring the steering knucle to a shop have them press the ball joints in .then reinstall knuckle yourself.
How to change upper and lower ball joints on a 1997 ford explorer all wheel drive?
replace when bad
this model is rear wheel drive
Drive it to the local garage and pay to have it done.
Yo need a new SATA drive to make a splash screen after your BIOS splash.
its electronic. No cable
I changed mine . I purchased the parts at Auto Zone.
If the clunk is most noticeable at takeoff or when coming to a stop, the u-joints on the drive shaft probably need to be replaced.
Yes!! We can change it. The boot splash screen with the tn logo is not the original splash screen of lenovo laptop. The govt. IT guys changed it using a splash screen changing tool. By the same way we are also able to change it. That splash screen changing tool is available in that same laptop in C drive. In C drive it consists of a folder named SVTOOLS or something. Inside that a folder named FLASH is available. Inside that flash folder, the tool used to change the boot splash screen is available. We can obtain the procedure to change or how to use the tool is available in Internet. By using that tool, we can change the initial splash screen of that laptop. I did it successfully. Try it.... But be careful about that you are going to play with the system bios. Your system will damage if you do anything false. Try it with your own risk. I am not recommend the beginners to do this!! Hope this may help you. Your friend Santhu M santhum08@gmail.com
replace lower ball joint on ford ranger 2001
Ball joints are in the front suspension, it is basically what the wheel assembly pivots on when you turn. Universal joints are on the ends of the drive shaft in a rear wheel drive vehicle. At the transmission and rear end. They give the drive line some flexibility. The same principal is in front wheel drive but are referred to as constant velocity joints, or CV joints.
I believe on the 4 x 4 , with the torsion bar suspension , the upper ball joints are part of the control arm and the lower ball joints can be replaced separately or with a new control arm The 2 wheel drive , with the coil spring front suspension , the upper and lower ball joints can be replaced separately
